2026 will continue to generate much change in people’s lives because there are three major planets that had changed into new Zodiac Signs for varying periods of time during 2025, all back in the old Zodiac Signs as the year begins. 2026 will be when they will settle into their new Zodiac Signs for long periods of time. The major planets have longer, slower cycles. This means they spend quite some time in one Zodiac Sign. This equates to a particular area of life with every single person.
So when these major planets change Zodiac Sign they will finish their focus in one area of life and begin to concentrate on an old (if they are going back) or new (if they are going forward) sphere of life. This gives the experience of closure in one sector of life and the need to transition into different experiences. This happens with every single person.
All the Zodiac Signs have geometrical connections to one another, called aspects – some of these connections are easy while others are challenging. It is actually the challenging aspects that produce significant results, even though they give a feeling of little choice.
The cycle of a planet is based on the length of time it takes to travel through all of the 12 Zodiac Signs and return to the position it had when the process began.
These are the faster moving planets, which have the quicker cycles. These frequent changes mean that people are born with variances that generate quite different character traits, though they can all be the same Sun Sign or Star Sign.
The Moon is the fastest moving planet – it takes 28 days to pass through all 12 Zodiac Signs – it changes from one Zodiac Sign to another, every 2 to 3 days, bringing great differences character wise, to people born under the one Sun Sign in a month. The relationship between the Sun and The Moon creates our Moon Phases. There are 8 Moon Phases in a 29½ day cycle but most commonly known are the New Moon, the First Quarter of the Moon, The Full Moon and the Third Quarter of the Moon.
The Sun is the planet that has the most regulated speed – it takes 365¼ days to travel through all 12 Zodiac Signs. It is the only planet that holds the same position in the Zodiac within a day, all year round. This is why it is the planet that determines our birthday.
Mercury has a cycle of around a year. It has 3 retrograde periods during the year. The Mercury retrograde periods for this year are as follows:
Retrograde: 26th February 2026 in Pisces
Direct: 21st March 2026 in Pisces
Retrograde: 30th June 2026 in Cancer
Direct: 24th July in Cancer
Retrograde: 24th October 2026 in Scorpio
Direct: 14th November 2026 in Scorpio
Mercury remains fairly close to the Sun – at times they are exactly together. Because Mercury has 3 retrograde periods a year Mercury will at times bein the same Zodiac Sign as the Sun’s Zodiac Sign. Mercury can also be one Zodiac Sign before the Sun’s Zodiac Sign or one Zodiac Sign ahead of the Sun’s Zodiac Sign.
The Zodiac Sign of Mercury influences the way a person thinks. If Mercury is not in the same Zodiac Sign as the Sun’s Zodiac Sign then although people can be the same Sun Sign, they can think very differently.
Venus has a cycle of around a year. It retrogrades every 18 months. When it does this it will spend 4 months in one Zodiac Sign if it stays in that one Zodiac Sign. Venus will retrograde during 2026, but this will occur between the two Zodiac Signs of Libra and Scorpio. Venus will move into Libra and then onto Scorpio where it will retrograde. While retrograde Venus will pass back into Libra, where it will go Direct (or forward again).
Venus is associated with interactions, beauty, pleasure and generating balance in situations. Venus travels very slowly just before it retrogrades, while it is retrograde and just after finishing its retrograde period until it can pick up speed. Venus will spend longer than normal periods of about a month in both Libra and Scorpio, due to its retrograde period.
Retrograde: 3rd October 2026 in Scorpio
Direct: 14th November 2026 in Libra
Venus and The Sun come together every 9½ months. This is when Venus either becomes Morning Star (when Venus is visible at sunrise) or Evening Star (when Venus is visible in the night sky). This relationship between The Sun and Venus has a complete 8 year cycle. It forms a 5 Pointed Star Pattern. A 5 pointed star is symbolic of Man.
There is a different Venus Star Point with its own Zodiac Sign on each of the 5 points of the Star Pattern. This Venus Star Pattern occupies 5 areas of every person’s Horoscope. When Venus and the Sun come together every 9½ months, generating the Venus Star, in a particular Zodiac Sign, it moves to a different point of the 5 pointed Star pattern. The Venus Star will occur in the same Zodiac sign and on the same point of the 5 pointed Star Pattern every 4 years – one time it will be as Morning Star and the other time it will be as Evening Star. This completes the 8 year cycle.
A Venus Star Point in a particular Zodiac Sign begins at the end of a Zodiac Sign and moves backwards through the Zodiac Sign.It takes about 100 years to do this. When a Venus Star Point changes Zodiac Signs it brings with it major changes overall.
Venus became Morning Star at 2 degrees of Aries on the 28th March 2025. This will remain in place until Venus changes to Evening Star on the 7th January 2026. It can bring changes and turning points to Aries especially, born on the 22nd, 23rd or 24th March but can also particularly be the case when there are planets or points in the Personal Horoscope at 2 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Leo, Aquarius, Sagittarius or Gemini .
Venus will become Evening Star at 16 degrees of Capricorn on the 7th January 2026 and will remain Evening Star until 24th October 2026. This can result in changes and major turning points to Capricorn’s, especially born on the 6th, 7th or 8th January, but can also be the case when there are planets or points in the Personal Horoscope at 16 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra, Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio or Pisces.
Venus will become Morning Star at 0 degrees of Scorpio the 24th October 2026 and will remain Evening Star until 12th August 2027. This can result in changes and turning points to Scorpio’s, especially born on the 23rd, 24th, 25th or 26th October but can also be the case when there are planets or points in the Personal Horoscope from 0 to 3 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, Virgo, Pisces, Cancer or Capricorn.
This will mark the very ending of Venus becoming Morning or Evening Star in Scorpio, which has occurred every 4 years since November 1926. It marks the end of a 100 year era.
This began to finish up between late October 2014 and mid August 2015 when Venus was Evening Star in Scorpio and then again from late October 2018 until mid August 2019 when Venus was Morning Star in Scorpio.
This totally final period coming up may allow those born with personal planets at 0 to 3 degrees, particularly in Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius as well for Capricorn, Cancer, Virgo and Pisces to finally wind something up that may have been dragging on in some way since the periods mentioned in the above paragraph.
Venus did begin its Morning Star, Evening Star cycle of 100 years through Libra momentarily from 23rd October 2022 until 13th August 2023 as Evening Star. Venus will continue in Libra as Morning Star then Evening Star every 4 years when it will be Evening Star again from 20th October 2030 until 11th August 2031.
Mars has a two year cycle. It retrogrades every second year. When it does this it will spend 6 to 7 months in one Zodiac Signs instead of its normal 6 weeks. Mars will retrograde on 10th January 2027 so will affect next year, more than 2026. It will spend from 28th September 2026 until 15th July 2027 in two Zodiac Signs only – Leo and Virgo.
Retrograde: 10th January 2027 in Virgo
Direct: 2nd April 2027 in Leo
Mars is associated with swift action, moving forward rather than spending too much time in contemplation but just before Mars turns retrograde, while it is retrograde and just after it finishes being retrograde, it slows things down until it can pick up speed again. This tends to generate frustration.
These have the slower cycles and this means that people within the same age group have these planets in the same Zodiac Sign. When these planets change Zodiac Sign they generate major changes in the lives of most people.
Jupiter, has a cycle of 12 Years. Jupiter has been in Cancer since 10th June 2025. Then Jupiter will move into Leo, generating a new 12 year cycle in Leo from 30th June 2026 until the 27th July 2027. Jupiter has an expanding quality, which can at times be connected to overdoing things. Jupiter is strongly associated with learning, benefit and travel.
Saturn has a cycle of 29½ (virtually 30) years. Saturn has been in Pisces since the 8th March 2023 and will not finally move out of Pisces until 14th February 2026. Saturn is all about responsibility, commitment which often involves limitations. Hard work brings rewards with Saturn.
Saturn did move on during 2025 momentarily from Pisces and into Aries. Saturn was in Aries from the 25th May 2025 until 1st September 2025 – then Saturn moved back into Pisces where it will remain until 14th February 2026. Then Saturn returns to Aries again, where it will stay until April 2028.
While in Aries, Saturn will generate new beginnings that have some sort of commitment or responsibility attached, particularly for those who have planets at the beginning of certain Zodiac Signs in their Horoscope.
When Saturn moved back into Pisces from 1st September 2025 until 14th February 2026, it can finalise any endings that have not been fully completed earlier, for those who have planets at the end of certain Zodiac Signs in their Horoscope.
This means 2026 begins with Saturn in an ending cycle and until it moves back to Aries on 14th February, the beginning of 2026 is more a time to be finally winding things up.
Uranus has an 84 year cycle. Uranus has been in Taurus since 2018 and will remain in Taurus until 2026. Uranus brings the unexpected which can either be exciting or a shock, which often depends upon how much rebellion is involved.
Uranus did move on during 2025 momentarily from Taurus and into Gemini. Uranus was in Gemini from the 7th July 2025 until 8th November 2025 – then Uranus went back into Taurus, where it will remain until 26th April 2026, when it returns to Gemini to stay until May 2033.
While in Gemini, Uranus is likely to have generated surprising new beginnings that will often be associated with greater independence, particularly for those who have planets at the beginning of certain Zodiac Signs in their Horoscope.
When Uranus moved back into Taurus from 8th November 2025 to 26th April 2026 it will be more about finalising anything that wasn’t fully brought to an end earlier, for those who have planets at the end of certain Zodiac Signs in their Horoscope. This might make it difficult to fully get on with new directions as the year begins in 2026.
Neptune has a 165 year cycle. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011 and will remain in Pisces until 27th January 2026. Neptune began to finish up in Pisces during 2024 but will take until 2026 to complete this. Neptune has a floating quality about it which often brings with it a lack of clarity. It is also highly psychic and creative.
Neptune did move on momentarily during 2025 from Pisces into Aries. Neptune was in Aries from 30th March 2025 until 22nd October 2025 – then Neptune returned to Pisces where it will stay until 27th January 2026. Then Neptune will remain in Aries until March 2039.
While in Aries, Neptune is likely to have generated new beginnings that were not expected but are more likely to have had a lack of clarity about them, particularly for those who have planets at the beginning of certain Zodiac Signs in the Horoscope.
Saturn did join Neptune in Aries for some of this time, which could have brought about a combination of commitments or responsibilities that were not on the agenda that will be unclear for those who have planets at the beginning of certain Zodiac Signs in the Horoscope. This could be finalised around 21st February 2026, when Saturn and Neptune come back together again. These two planets do not come together very often – the last time was 1989 when the Berlin Wall came down. Hopefully this coming together in February brings an end to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The next time they come together will be 2061.
Pluto has a 247 year cycle and has finally settled into Aquarius for 20 years from 20th November 2024.
Every person has had Pluto finally move from area of their life where it had been since 2008 to another area. It has produced a very changeable time from 2023, which has very much been added to, though in different areas of life, with the changes the Zodiac Signs of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune during 2025.
Pluto is the planet that generates major transformation in life. With this will come very definite endings that lead to new beginnings, as Pluto is the planet associated with birth and death.
Cyber crime will probably become the big thing in this time. Warfare will very much utilise modern technology. It will be interesting to see where bitcoin and electronic banking goes during this period as well as all modern day technology including AI. The world will change, just as it has since 2008.
When any of these Major Planets are in Zodiac Signs where you have Personal Planets and points from your birthday and birth time, they will generate major change when they pass over them. They can also do this from other Zodiac Signs due to the aspects they make. This quite accurately predicts periods of major change on a personal level but you need to have your Personal Horoscope done to see this.
When you read the following predictions for 2026 for the 12 Zodiac Signs it is best to read the Zodiac Sign you have on your Ascendant (calculated from your birth time) as well as your Sun Sign.

Following are my interpretations of what the 12 Zodiac Signs can expect during 2026. If you know your Ascendant, you should read that in combination with your Sun Sign.

(Born between 21st March & 20th April)
Saturn will be in a winding up process until 14th February, encouraging you to let go of anything that no longer fits a purpose in life before Saturn returns to your sign, on 14th February, beginning a new 30 year personal cycle in earnest. This did start momentarily last year from late May to early September but this was just a taste of what you need to be prepared to commit yourself to, especially while Saturn remains in your sign until 13th April 2028. Much of this will be about personal discipline, which may not be such an easy thing to cope with some of the time, as your sense of adventure might need to be curbed to attain the best outcome for yourself or anything that involves you. Those looking to take on added responsibility on a work or personal basis should have these opportunities arise. Saturn here in your sign states that you are ready to do so, though it might prove more of a challenge than you initially anticipated. This type of experience generates a degree of wisdom, which can only be looked upon as beneficial in life when it comes to future decisions that arise.
Neptune is also in a winding up process until 27th January. This is bringing to an end the area of life Neptune has influenced in your life since 2011, which could have resulted in periods where there was a lack of clarity and perhaps uncertainty. The main purpose of this was to encourage you to find quiet time to yourself and reflect, which is not something that comes naturally to Aries as they tend to be on the go or want to just get on with things. Once Neptune re-enters your sign on 27th January, it will remain there for the next 13 years. This is a once in a lifetime cycle as Neptune would then take another 165 years to come back to Aries. Neptune is highly sensitive and you could find yourself far more tuned in than you have ever been, though a lot of this would have been developing since 2011, especially if you found quiet time to yourself to contemplate. Neptune and Saturn coming together in your sign on the 21st February could result in a major turning point in life around that time.
Jupiter has been generating a new 12 year cycle from 10th June 2025 until 30th June 2026 in the home and family area of your life. For some, this could have brought benefit with real estate, moving to a bigger property, additions to the family. As this is also the area of getting a good structure in place in life, this could have and could still take place. If you feel you have already over committed yourself, Saturn moving into your sign can help you to scale this down. Be sure with anything new that might come up that you are not being overly optimistic about your ability to handle it with everything else that might be going on in life. Jupiter will move into the leisure, pleasure, love and social activity area of your life from 30th June 2026 until 27th July 2027. This can be one of the best periods of time to take a holiday though with Saturn in your sign you would need to ensure you do not go overboard on the expense. Having a few small breaks could do you the world of good. Taking up a hobby is another possibility. There could be much to enjoy when it comes to new or young people.
Mars, your ruling planet will be very active until later in the year, which should suit you. Mars will enter your sign on 10th April heralding the beginning of a new 2 year personal cycle. Your energy level will certainly pick up and so can your self confidence. Mars should keep you busy focussing on personal matters and anything you might like to change up to 11th August. For some, this could bring about a change within a job or change of job, even a change to finances. Mars will join Jupiter in the leisure, pleasure, love and social area from 28th September until 26th November. This can result in the beginnings of much to enjoy though the full outcome of what you can either develop or that can be relied upon, if other people are involved, will not become evident until February 2027 through to mid May 2027 when Mars will revisit this area of your life, due to turning retrograde in early in 2027.

Uranus is winding its time up in your sign as the year begins. This final winding up process will carry through until 26th April. Uranus first moved into your sign in 2018 momentarily and then settled in your sign from 2019. During that period there would have been circumstances that suddenly changed either because of you developing a sense of rebellion or because of somebody else doing just that and therefore affecting your life. The main lesson of Uranus is to learn independence. Taurean’s who were born in this period will have a rebellious streak about them – it will be like a double dose of stubbornness! Once Uranus leaves Taurus on 26th April, it will not return for 84 years. Uranus will then move on to the area of your life related to personal finances as well as what you value. Uranus generates unpredictability and for this reason you should ensure you have money behind you for the unexpected. If you come into this period with a lot of financial commitment, you may decide to scale down to give yourself more freedom. You may change your work. There could be unexpected luck with money but this is not something you should rely upon as things could go the other way.
Saturn, the serious planet will move into the area of endings and contemplation from 14th February until 13th April 2028. This would not be a good time to launch into something totally new that would put any sort of strain on your finances. Saturn here is winding up a 30 year cycle which began in your sign in mid June 1998 before a new 30 year cycle will begin again in your sign in mid April 2028. This can encourage you to contemplate all that has taken place in life, what you have accomplished and whether the time has come to let certain things go. You may have started this process between May and October 2025 when Saturn initially activated this area of your life.
Neptune will also move into the same area of endings and contemplation as Saturn from 27th January where it will remain for 13 years. Neptune has never activated this area of your life before and once it finishes it can never return in your lifetime. It is a place where Neptune is quite comfortable. This can enable you to tune into things like never before. You may wonder if you are being overly imaginative. You will benefit from having regular quiet time to yourself and could even become quite hermit like. Taurus is a naturally creative Zodiac Sign, especially in the areas of art or music. Neptune here will enhance this ability. The down side of Neptune in this area can be anxiety, especially if your security is threatened and this is why it is important not to take risks in the hope of something better.
Jupiter has likely kept you very busy since 10th June 2025. This will continue until 30th June. Amongst this could have been and continue to be many distractions. This is an excellent period to enjoy travel, but probably more with rest attached during 2026. Any sort of learning or study should be enjoyed. From 30th June 2025 until 26th July 2027 Jupiter will activate the home and family area of your life. Real estate dealings can be successful. There can be additions to the family. You can put some solid foundations down in your life in this time that will have the opportunity to grow and develop very successfully in the future.
Venus, your ruling planet will spend an especially long period of time activating the area of your life concerned with your health and relationships from 7th August until 7th January 2027. If your health requires attention in some way, even if just to get yourself more fit or to lose weight, you will probably do better under the guidance of somebody who specialises in this. Venus will retrograde from 3rd October until 14th November. This would be an excellent time to get yourself back on track either health wise or with matters you have let slide and want to get balanced again. People from the past may unexpectedly turn up.

Uranus momentarily entered your sign from 7th July until 8th November 2025. It had not been here for 84 years. As the year begins, Uranus is finishing up the 7 year cycle where you likely have had to deal with the unexpected coming to the surface. This could have entailed people working behind the scenes, perhaps because of jealousy, to bring you down in some way. Secrets could have come out that were a shock to the system to either you or others. There could have been circumstances you wanted to escape but could not, which likely set up a frustrating sense of rebellion. This simply meant you needed to work your way through it and wait for better times. Uranus will re-enter your sign on 26th April for 7 years. In this time you can set yourself free but you must remember that this cannot happen instantly. What you have to watch is becoming too openly rebellious as this can attract difficulty. You need to be wise about what you can handle independently. This next 7 years will definitely bring more excitement into your life than the last 7 years has done.
Saturn, the planet of commitment and responsibility has put you under a lot of pressure since March 2023. This eased off between 25th May and 1st September 2025. As this year begins and up to 14th February you need to ensure that you have done the right thing when it comes to your responsibilities, so you are ready to move onto the next phase. From 14th February until 13th April 2028 Saturn will focus you upon matters that need to take priority in your life. This position of Saturn will be very supportive of Uranus, in a practical way, once Uranus moves into your own sign. You could be involved with groups of people, perhaps a team at work or social groups. Those who are in a position to recommend you will be willing to do so. Don’t be afraid to ask them. New stable friendships could come into your life.
Neptune will be present in this same area of your life as Saturn from 27th January for 13 years. Neptune has a drifting quality to it so in situations that involve you with a group of people, unless it is some type of spiritual group, you may find it difficult to know exactly where some of them are coming from. This might also be the case with friends. When it comes to what is important in life, you could realise that the ability to escape in some way is necessary so that you have got time to think and contemplate. You may join a group which follows creative or spiritual, even religious pursuits in some way.
Jupiter has been activating your personal finance area of life since 10th June until 30th June 2026. This can have an extremely beneficial influence when it comes to finances, as Jupiter is here once every 12 years. For some, this has or could still bring about an increase in income or a very good job change. Jupiter here could also incline you to spend more money, so it is imperative that you realise just what you can afford. For some it can mean taking on a mortgage, as this is a long term financial commitment. Winning money is a possibility too.
Jupiter will begin to generate a very busy time when it moves on from 30th June 2026 to 26th July 2027. You can be full of new ideas or take up study. This has a compatible connection to Uranus in your own sign which could result in some new and exciting decisions in life.
Mercury, your ruling planet spends 3 cycles during the year where it actives certain areas of life for longer than usual periods of time, requiring your focus. This is because of Mercury going retrograde. Matters from the past can come up. Reviews in these areas may be required. You could find lost things or get paid money you have been owed for a while, so pursue it, if that is the case. From 7th February to 21st March it will be commitments and responsibilities, which can include what you think is a fair thing. From 1st June to 24th July it will be your personal finances. From 30th September to 14th November it will be your health or matters you need to get in order or deal with on a daily basis.

Jupiter, the planet of increase and benefit has been in your sign, stimulating the beginning of a new 12 year cycle since 10th June and will remain here until 30th June 2026. This has likely already brought beneficial opportunities your way but this could also still be the case. Jupiter is well positioned in your sign which could have resulted in and still can, you and your abilities being looked upon in a very good way. Because Jupiter is the planet of growth, weight gain is a possibility, as Jupiter will encourage overindulgence, as it has no boundaries. This overindulgence could also occur in many other areas of your life, therefore it might be wise the keep this in check. Jupiter will begin to activate your personal finances from 30th June 2026 until 26th July 2027. This can bring an increase to your finances which may be due, in some cases, to a fortunate change of job. Some may win or be given money. Jupiter may also encourage you to spend your money more freely, so this could be something you will need to watch. Mars will have an unusually long period of activation to all the personal areas of your life from 11th August 2026 until 15th July 2027. This will add a great deal of activity to the presence of Jupiter in this area of your life, which is also associated with focussing on what you value. What you value does not necessarily just mean financial, it can be being valued for you what you do, or as a person, as well as what is important to you. This could change, very much for the better.
Saturn, the planet of responsibility and commitment will settle into the area of your life in which Saturn is very comfortable from the 24th February until 13th April 2028. Saturn was momentarily here from 25th May until 1st September 2025. This will likely increase your obligations or responsibilities in this time. In some instances this could be as a parent or having to take some sort of responsibility of aging parents. With Jupiter’s influence in your life you might need to be careful you do not take on more than is reasonable to cope with when it comes to obligations, either on a personal or work or business level. If you would like a job promotion, it may very well come your way, especially if this is something you have been working towards for the last 24 years or so since Saturn was in your sign. Saturn here can result in greater recognition of the skills you have developed over time, whether or not you are seeking a position of authority. Your skills could have an authority of their own. Some may win an award. A person who has an authoritative position could appreciate your commitment and reward you accordingly.
Neptune move into this same area of responsibility and commitment as Saturn from 27th January for 13 years. Neptune was here momentarily from 30th March until 22nd October 2025. Neptune has never been here before and once it leaves in 13 years, can never come back in your lifetime. Neptune can be quite tricky here. You may need to be on the alert, when it comes to obligations, in that you do not take them on because you are either made to feel guilty or mean if you don’t. Neptune rules fog and haze, so it may be difficult to work out what is genuine and what is not when it comes to any situations that expect something from you. This is when you need to employ the qualities of Saturn in taking a practical view of matters. Those who have jobs or careers involving creativity could really make some headway due to Neptune. In any environment in which you have made a commitment, whether it be personal or work related you may find there will be people working behind your back. It may be difficult to ascertain exactly where you stand when it comes to a person with authority. Pay close attention and your natural ability to tune in with give you some answers.
Mercury will spend an especially long time in your sign this year, from 1st June until 10th August due to going retrograde from 30th June to 24th July. This would be a good time to review your life, where you are at the time and what would be best to work towards.

Jupiter has been stimulating you to reflect from 10th June 2025 and to continue to do so until 30th June 2026, not only on what you are all about but others and perhaps the effect you have on others. You will enjoy having time to yourself and because Jupiter can be lazy you may not be so keen to push yourself when it comes to matters that can be left to another day. That is not such a bad thing, as life will get a lot busier once Jupiter moves on. This position of Jupiter will encourage you to contemplate, particularly those things you believe in, whether it be religion, spiritual or just doing the right thing by others and as well, how other people treat you. Some will take up a voluntary role. A realisation that every individual is part of the whole and a mere cog in the whole scheme of things may dawn on you. Jupiter will move into your sign from 30th June 2026 until 26th July 2027, heralding the beginning of a new 12 year cycle.
