Astrology Classes are held in Adelaide at the address below. The class will have a maximum of 7 people. Because of being such a small group of students, a very friendly atmosphere is established, which, I am sure, makes learning easier. It also allows me to be aware of your progress in class.

The Astrology classes are held on a Saturday – 4 weeks apart, at Walkerville, Adelaide. The cost of each class is $75, which you pay as you go. There is an initial $25 stationary fee (paid once a year).

This Beginner’s Astrology Course is for those who have very little knowledge of Astrology, except perhaps for a general interest or quite good knowledge of the different characteristics of the Zodiac Signs. Once you get into Astrology you will realise there is more to it than this.
The courses I conduct are discussion based and relaxed. You are not put under pressure to do work between classes – although Astrology is such that you can do a lot of personal learning and progress more rapidly if you so desire.
Reading the Ephemeris (which you will need to purchase from me) is the means of being able to see and understand what the planets are doing in the heavens. You will come to rely on this book and once you know how to read this book, the fascination of being able to have knowledge of what is going on around us in the heavens can keep your interest well and truly stimulated for the rest of your life. The patterns of the planet positions are always changing and creating different outcomes. You will be able to watch this for yourself.
When a Horoscope is calculated, the Zodiac positions of all the planets in our Solar System are taken into account. The Sun Sign, (most people know of their own), represents the lessons you are to learn in this life – what you have to become.
The Moon Sign, in an Astrology Horoscope however, is an extremely accurate indicator of one’s habit patterns, characteristics that are very well developed and automatic. Most people have their Sun and Moon in different signs. The only time these two are in the same sign is once a month, for 2 days, when we have a new moon. To know a person’s Moon Sign is to know what drives them.
Mercury’s Sign, in the Horoscope shows the way the person thinks and makes decisions. This is often in the same sign as the Sun but not always.
The Sign of Venus in the Horoscope explains the way the person relates, the type of people they attract, how they treat money, how they earn their money and what they enjoy.
Mars Sign in the Astrology Horoscope reveals how the person is motivated, their energy level. These five planets, The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are the Personal Planets. They are closest to the earth and Sun. Their cycles are quite fast hence they change Zodiac Signs frequently. This means people are born with all sorts of varieties as to the positions of these planets – this creates individuality.
The Outer Planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto stay much longer periods of time in the one Zodiac Sign. This means many people are born with these planets in the same sign in their Astrology Horoscopes. However, it is how these planets link with the personal planets that brings individual differences. The cycles of these outer planets herald the periods of major change in life.
To begin with you will learn about all the Zodiac Signs in Astrology and the Planets. It is these two things that are the whole basis of Astrology. You will be working with your own Horoscope and those of the rest of the class.
You will need to purchase a Workbook I have put together with the basic information on the Nature of the Planets, their strengths and weaknesses as well as sectors of the Personal Horoscope that are important to learn as you start out with your learning. You will have this at your fingertips in class and won’t miss information with note taking. The cost of this Workbook is $30.

Once you know how to do this you will be able to look up any person’s date of birth and see where all the personal planets were positioned in their Horoscope. This will enable you to have far greater insight than just their Astrology Sun Sign. Once you know their habit patterns (from the Moon) and their manner of thinking (from Mercury) etc., you can understand where they are coming from. It will bring out more patience in yourself in your dealings with them, even people you find difficult.
There are reference books giving interpretations on the Astrology Zodiac Signs and Planets. I stock a very good beginners book. With these two reference books, you have a very sound basis to gain insight into yourself and others.
This is maybe all you want to do with Astrology but you can go further.
There are other methods in Astrology that are utilised for viewing future change as well as past changes in life. These shifting cycles also reveal the layers of alteration we all take on as our life progresses. It is as if our core self becomes overlaid with other influences through the experiences we have. These experiences are in response to the pull of the slowly progressing Astrology planet changes.
This is very individual, based on the positions of the planets in the birth chart. This, with the daily motion of the planets and their effect on the personal Astrology Horoscope contributes to the development of the wisdom we gain from our life.
We all have 12 Year chapters continuously operating in our lives. These move into a different mode of operation each birthday until our next birthday. This reveals what can be expected for the year.
This is all part of learning to predict future cycles. With this you can recognise how certain areas of life will be influenced for a particular period of time and by what type of energy. You can look back over life as well as into the future. This brings enlightenment to whatever is going on and how best to deal with it.
You have the choice of eventually sitting for exams to gain qualifications. This is not a necessity of joining the classes though and is not available in the earlier stages. If you decide to sit for qualifications, as part of your preparation for this you will be taught to consult. Doing a consultation forms part of the exam. It would take 5 to 6 years of learning to get to the stage of developing this ability.
I would love to see you choose to journey down this path of enlightenment that Astrology has to offer. From the earliest stages you will be amazed at what Astrology reveals and whether you do it for a little while or a long while, it will help you to understand yourself and others, like nothing else can.
